Steve Cuthew qualified from Liverpool University in 1979, he has been at Carlton House since 1983 and was awarded the further qualification of a Diploma in General Dental Practice in 1993.

From an artistic family he studied three sciences at “A level”, the combination of art and science in dentistry has given him a very satisfying career. In his initial five years he was a children’s dentist in Leicester and he spent years working with the Orthodontic Department at Glenfield hospital. Over the years he has expanded his knowledge of orthodontics to treatments including caring for patients that grind or clench their teeth, known as Bruxism.

Being “Arty” in nature he has always concentrated on delivering the cosmetic aspects of dentistry. His main focus after seeing so much early decay in young children in Leicester city is to work on the concept of disease prevention.

Outside of work Steve has a keen interest in flying and has two grown up children and a number of grandchildren who like to keep him on his toes.
